Day 10
Day 10: Improving Pronunciation and Speaking Fluency
Today, I focused on improving my pronunciation and speaking fluency. I know that even if I have good grammar and vocabulary, clear pronunciation is key to being understood. My goal was to work on sounding more natural when speaking.
What did I do today?
Pronunciation Practice:
I spent time listening to native speakers in videos and podcasts, focusing on how they pronounce words, especially difficult ones.
I repeated words and sentences after the speakers, paying attention to the rhythm and stress of the words.
Speaking Aloud:
I practiced reading out loud, focusing on smoothness and clarity.
I also recorded myself speaking and compared it with native speakers to see where I need to improve.
How did I feel today?
At first, it was challenging to get the pronunciation right, but after some practice, I started to notice improvements. Speaking aloud and recording myself helped me identify areas where I need more work.
Achievements of the Day
Improved my pronunciation on certain tricky words.
Gained more confidence speaking aloud, especially after hearing my own recordings.
Plan for Tomorrow
Continue working on pronunciation, especially with new words.
Speak for longer periods, and focus on fluidity while keeping a steady pace.
