Day 15: Practicing with Real-Life Scenarios


Today, I focused on simulating real-life scenarios to practice both my speaking and listening skills. I wanted to improve how I would handle everyday situations in English, like making phone calls, asking for directions, or ordering at a restaurant.


What did I do today?


Role-playing Real-Life Situations:


I practiced making phone calls in English, pretending to book a hotel room or ask for information. I focused on using polite language and asking clear questions.


I also role-played ordering food at a restaurant, paying attention to common phrases and questions that could come up.



Listening to Real-Life Conversations:


I listened to recordings of people in real-life situations, like at a shop or on a bus. I tried to understand what was being said and repeated the sentences to improve my pronunciation.




How did I feel today?

I was nervous at first, especially when pretending to make phone calls, but it was really helpful. It gave me more confidence in handling real situations, and I felt more prepared for actual conversations.
