Day 17: Expanding Vocabulary Through Context


Today, I focused on expanding my vocabulary by learning words and phrases in context. Instead of just memorizing words, I tried to learn how they’re used in real conversations and stories, which will help me remember them better and use them more naturally.


What did I do today?


Learning Vocabulary in Context:


I read short stories and articles in English and highlighted new words I didn’t know. Afterward, I looked up their meanings and tried to understand how they were used in the sentences.


I created sentences with these new words to reinforce their meanings and remember them.



Using New Vocabulary in Conversations:


I practiced using the new words in sentences during my speaking practice. I tried to incorporate them into everyday topics like hobbies, food, or travel.




How did I feel today?

Learning vocabulary in context made it easier to remember the words and use them in real-life situations. It felt like I was learning in a more meaningful way, and I could see myself using the new words more naturally in my speech.

Day 5: Practicing Listening and Understanding Conversations Today, I decided to focus more on listening, as I believe it's a key part of language learning. By listening to conversations, we get the chance to improve our skills significantly. My goal was to understand conversations better and learn common words and phrases used in daily life.
