Day 9: Focus on Grammar and Sentence Structure

Today, I wanted to focus more on grammar, specifically on improving my sentence structure. I realized that being able to form clear and correct sentences is essential for effective communication, so I decided to dedicate more time to understanding how sentences work in English.

What did I do today?

Grammar Practice:

I studied sentence structure, focusing on how to form complex sentences with conjunctions like but, because, although, etc.

I practiced turning simple sentences into more detailed ones, for example, turning “I like coffee” into “I like coffee because it helps me feel more awake in the morning.”


Writing Exercise:

I wrote a short story about my day, trying to use the new sentence structures I learned. I made sure to focus on varying my sentence types and linking ideas together clearly.



How did I feel today?
Grammar can be tricky, but I enjoyed working on improving my sentence formation. It felt good to make my sentences more interesting and detailed, and I could see how it would make my speaking and writing more fluent.

Day 5: Practicing Listening and Understanding Conversations Today, I decided to focus more on listening, as I believe it's a key part of language learning. By listening to conversations, we get the chance to improve our skills significantly. My goal was to understand conversations better and learn common words and phrases used in daily life. What did I do today? Listening to Simple Conversations: I watched short videos in English with subtitles. First, I focused on listening, and then checked the subtitles to make sure I understood everything.
