Day 30
Day 30: Expanding Vocabulary and Using It in Conversations
Today, I focused on expanding my vocabulary and learning how to use new words in everyday conversations. The goal was to improve my range of vocabulary and feel more confident using it in different contexts.
What did I do today?
Learning New Words:
I learned 15 new words related to different topics, such as emotions, work, and hobbies. I looked up their meanings, pronunciation, and example sentences.
I created flashcards to review these new words and their meanings.
Using New Vocabulary in Context:
I practiced using the new words in sentences and tried to include them in conversations. For example, I used words like "enthusiastic" and "determined" to describe my feelings about my English progress.
I wrote a short paragraph using as many of the new words as possible.
Speaking Practice:
I practiced talking about a topic (like a movie or my favorite hobby) while making sure to use the new vocabulary I learned today. I also recorded myself to check how smoothly the words fit into my speech.
How did I feel today?
At first, it was difficult to remember all the new words and use them correctly in conversations, but by the end of the day, I felt more comfortable. I enjoyed the challenge of using new vocabulary and making my speech sound richer.
